We are back with another slab of underground goodness. Its Kassey Voorn who steps up to take his turn, and delivers Chords From The Heart. Kassey has released music on such fine labels as Cocoon and Bedrock and his fans go from Sasha to Armin Van Buuren to Sven Vath. Chords From The Heart Original mix is a tasty building warm gem, phat and driving, with layers of melody, while retaining a deep edge. Then the drop arrives and the temperature is turned right up as the track explodes. A bit of monster, as they say! The talented duo from Microtrauma are remix duties, having racked up tracks and remixes for Traum, Monique Musique and Basmati, these boys are hot property. The remix they delivered is a superb slab of melancholic techno, utilising the melodies from the original, but adding a deeper slant, yet keeping the vibe for a peak time winner. Jerusalem born Muzarco has had his work remixed by Hernan Cattaneo, John Tejada, Guy J and Roland M. Dill, and now its his turn to return the favour. His remix is an emotive but moody electronica tinged techno workout, bubbling along with underlying filth while the synthy pads add atmosphere.
